Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to drive technical outcomes.
- Architect, build, deploy, and operate logistics solutions with business stakeholders.
- Understand logistics operations to model systems accurately.
- Act as a technical reference for colleagues regarding core product architecture.
- Utilize a modern tech stack to ensure reliable service operation in production.
- Drive complex problems from concept to deployment using solid engineering practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Go.
- Experience with event-driven microservices on Kubernetes and Kafka.
- Comfortable with relational databases like PostgreSQL and object stores like AWS S3.
- A bias for delivery, focusing on shipping in small iterations.
- Genuine interest in logistics operations and problem-solving.
- Ability to share knowledge and help peers improve.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- Practical experience integrating third-party vendors and APIs.
