Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship Android features in a large production application.
- Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
- Review code, provide developer feedback, and write technical documentation.
- Lead development initiatives involving new technologies, architecture, and engineering practices.
- Make technology, design, and product-direction decisions with peers and stakeholders.
- Triage product and application issues and respond to customer problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
- Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, application components, Android OS lifecycle, performance optimization, Gradle builds, and modules.
- Experience with concurrency practices and coroutines.
- Ability to make architectural decisions based on data and requirements.
- Working knowledge of MVVM and standard multi-tier architecture.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with automated testing, Play Store publishing, Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp/Retrofit, Espresso/Kakao, OAuth, mobile authentication, data safety, accessibility, Material Design, and mobile UX.
- Preferred: experience using AI and LLM tools in development while maintaining quality, review standards, and security.
