Responsibilities
- Implement, test, deliver, and streamline Nexthink’s data platform and accelerate data onboarding.
- Design and deliver scalable, resilient, distributed services that process billions of events.
- Collaborate with Product Management, architects, and engineering stakeholders on high-quality solutions and the technology roadmap.
- Promote improvements to product security, quality, performance, team efficiency, and engineering practices.
- Ship complex features and improvements in an iterative environment.
- Handle L3 support requests with the engineering team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Java developer in SaaS projects.
- Strong experience with microservices frameworks; Micronaut or Spring experience is a plus.
- Expertise with messaging systems such as Kafka is strongly valued.
- Knowledge of streaming services and distributed caching is a plus.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Professional-level spoken and written English, along with strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and self-management skills.
