Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, configure, and support off-the-shelf vendor applications developed in UNIX, Java, Oracle, and AIX environments.
- Troubleshoot compliance application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve critical SLA-driven incidents with vendors and business teams.
- Lead and manage projects throughout the SDLC to meet functional goals, budget constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze and verify business requirements, issue specifications, process flows, and project deliverables.
- Track BAU issues in Jira and manage incident tickets.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to the L1 support team, coordinate issue resolution, and close tickets with vendors.
- Work with multiple teams on system vulnerability remediation and bring new technologies and methodologies to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Minimum 8–12 years of software development experience implementing technologies or vendor platforms for business needs.
- At least 7 years of developing, supporting, and maintaining applications in UNIX environments.
- Proficiency in software development, Unix shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with HP QC, UNIX, AIX, MQ, Tidal or Autosys, Shell scripting, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, adaptability, independent working, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of banking, financial services, or payments application experience.
- Preferred: experience with CGI HotScan or another sanctions-screening system, including wire scanning, OFAC and other lists, alert review, list management, rule definition, system tuning, and scaling.
