Responsibilities
- Build cloud-scale products focused on efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain end-to-end build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to product architecture and design.
- Triage issues, restore services with minimal disruption, and perform root-cause analysis, trend analysis, and post-mortems.
- Own components through requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment quality and availability.
- Drive broader feature development with a development crew.
- Guide and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed cloud services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Strong operational discipline, including managing live-site health, responding to randomization, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively with Software Engineers, Program Managers, and Security experts.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
