Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement AVEVA’s cloud platform within the Core Services team.
- Design and develop secure and resilient software features.
- Act as the team’s technical authority and lead resolution of complex technical challenges spanning services.
- Collaborate with leaders across teams to align architecture and design.
- Provide technical leadership and help ensure engineering excellence at scale.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.
- Maintain and expand technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Strong software design and coding skills with a record of delivering quality results quickly.
- Experience developing with microservice or service-oriented architectures.
- Knowledge of REST API design principles.
- Experience developing in multiple programming languages, primarily C#.
- Experience with .NET.
- Understanding of database design.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
- Cloud development experience, especially with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
