Base Salary
$172k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and verification of embedded software for specialized hardware and systems.
- Translate customer requirements into embedded software product designs and lead software and hardware integration.
- Review embedded software code and lead analyses to improve system efficiency and stability.
- Lead testing, debugging, technology implementation, and compliance activities for embedded software projects.
- Track and evaluate internal and supplier software team performance against project plans and industry standards.
- Lead embedded software project management functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- At least 5 years of embedded software development experience is required.
- At least 1 year of experience leading software development projects is required.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes MATLAB, Simulink, real-time or near-real-time systems, embedded systems, and automated software build, testing, deployment, and installation workflows.
- Experience leading software development projects using Agile development methodologies is preferred.
