Responsibilities
- Take customers from cold outbound through production integration and closed deal.
- Build and ship demos, tutorials, and sample applications showcasing Exa’s capabilities.
- Debug and resolve technical issues from API behavior through frontend rendering.
- Identify customer feedback patterns and translate them into product improvements, shipping fixes when possible.
- Conduct frequent sales and technical calls with CTOs, engineers, and product managers.
- Analyze usage data and customer interactions to identify churn risk and drive expansion.
Requirements
- Several years of programming experience and the ability to build and deploy a production server from scratch.
- A track record of high performance in a demanding environment.
- Comfort with direct customer interaction and high-stakes conversations.
- Tolerance for frequent context-switching, ambiguity, and sustained intensity.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.
- Experience building and shipping user-facing products end to end is a potential advantage.
- Previous experience closing revenue or driving commercial outcomes is a potential advantage.
- Ability to thrive in an early-stage environment with changing responsibilities is a potential advantage.
