Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build runtime security solutions for cloud and AI workloads deployed at scale.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance Linux system software components for security.
- Monitor, test, debug, and improve system reliability, performance, and product quality.
- Debug issues identified through testing or customer cases, determine root causes, and improve tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, release management, and cross-functional teams to integrate sensor and cloud solutions and streamline releases.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to secure coding, testing, debugging, performance measurement, CI/CD, and OS-internals practices.
- Lead technical initiatives covering AI workloads, virtual machines, containers, orchestrators, and security across public and private clouds.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing product features on Linux or Unix using C/C++, including multithreading, high concurrency, high reliability, efficient memory use, performance, and conformance to external standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience developing Linux kernel modules.
- Experience developing production eBPF code for security or networking.
- Experience programming cloud-native workloads using public cloud platforms, private cloud platforms, and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience working on teams that ship major features and releases.
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
- Experience developing in a Windows environment is a plus.
- Experience with hypervisors and virtualization technologies is a plus.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
