Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise GitLab CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Automate software build, testing, security scanning, deployment, and release processes.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for AWS infrastructure.
- Create reusable GitLab CI/CD templates, shared libraries, and DevOps standards.
- Build automation with Shell scripting and Python for infrastructure and deployment operations.
- Manage AWS cloud services for availability, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Integrate DevSecOps controls, vulnerability management, compliance checks, and policy enforcement into pipelines.
- Monitor pipeline performance, deployment metrics, and infrastructure health and resolve complex build, deployment, infrastructure, and automation issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams on DevOps and software delivery improvements.
- Support cloud migration, platform modernization, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- Review infrastructure and pipeline architectures, provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and lead automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware technologies.
- Preferred master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred experience in financial services, banking, or payments.
- Preferred AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS SysOps Administrator certification.
- Experience with enterprise GitLab CI/CD platforms, pipeline governance, Terraform, Terraform Cloud or Enterprise, and Infrastructure as Code automation.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, Security Hub, and CloudTrail.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, or Trivy.
- Experience with automated testing, release orchestration, deployment strategies, environment management, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- Experience leading DevOps transformation, CI/CD modernization, and cloud platform engineering initiatives.
- Experience supporting highly regulated environments with security, compliance, audit readiness, and operational risk requirements.
