Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support cloud and locally hosted solutions for service deployment, availability, and operations.
Own custom Python microservices, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with broader infrastructure.
Monitor service health using New Relic and respond to escalations to maintain 99.9% production availability.
Improve infrastructure and processes for deployability, scalability, security, and fault tolerance.
Automate operational, testing, installation, and related processes.
Collaborate with service developers to resolve complex operational issues.
Document procedures for resolving issues in complex systems.
Build CI/CD solutions to improve developer productivity and accelerate deployments.
Support and extend existing Python service software.
Collaborate with the team on DevOps best practices.

3–5 years of DevOps experience.
Strong Python expertise; Kotlin experience is a major plus.
Experience building automation or dependency-management tools with PyPy or uv.
Experience with infrastructure management and deployment.
Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
Proficiency managing Linux and macOS operating systems.
Experience with MySQL or DynamoDB.
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Prometheus or New Relic.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Oracle cloud data centers.
Preferred: experience with Apple ecosystems, including iOS and macOS, and device-farm management.
Preferred: Kotlin programming experience.
