Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions using AWS or Azure.
Design and implement fault-tolerant, highly available systems and services operating at large scale.
Develop IoT devices, edge devices, and cloud infrastructure.
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
Collaborate with software development, data analytics, and cybersecurity teams.
Monitor emerging IoT and cloud-platform technologies.
Mentor developers on software development best practices and processes.
Advise leadership on technical direction.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 10 years of software development experience.
At least five years of experience designing and implementing secure and scalable IoT solutions, preferably in an industrial setting.
At least two years of AI software development experience.
Experience with modern design patterns, microservice-based architectures, containers, Kubernetes, message queues, and related technologies.
Experience with AI-driven software development and test-driven development.
Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure, including IoT services and features.
Familiarity with MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP.
Experience with edge computing technologies and OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet, and CAN bus protocols.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
Expertise in microservices and serverless architectures.
AWS and/or Azure certifications are considered a plus.
Ability to connect technology value with business value and partners, simplify complex problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide clear recommendations.
