Responsibilities
- Manage a designated technology application portfolio, including configuration, reengineering, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Provide analysis, architectural design, and technical leadership for medium- and large-complexity software projects.
- Develop, administer, and support applications and databases using the .NET Framework.
- Lead software implementation tasks and projects, including large-size implementations at the Senior level.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business departments to ensure requirements and targets are met.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to peers in areas of expertise.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for break/fix ticket resolution.
- Work within and help manage defined IT processes and software development life cycle procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training.
- Level I qualification includes up to 3 years of successful application and system development and management experience with database experience using the .NET Framework.
- Level II qualification requires 3–7 years of successful application and system development and management experience with database experience using the .NET Framework.
- Senior qualification requires 7+ years of successful application and system development and management experience with database experience using the .NET Framework.
- Experience leading software implementation tasks or projects, including medium- to large-size implementations.
- Preferred experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
- Preferred experience developing and administering LIMS, specimen management systems, laboratory instrument interfaces, ERP systems, CRM systems, or related software systems.
- Preferred knowledge of HL7, Corepoint, GreatPlains, Salesforce, Carevoyant, and MS Project.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
