Responsibilities
- Lead multi-skilled agile teams in designing and delivering modern software solutions.
- Collaborate with customer architects to agree functional and non-functional designs.
- Advise customers and managers on effort estimates, technical implications, and solution complexity.
- Prioritize non-functional concerns and incorporate them into application designs.
- Manage, coach, and develop junior staff and support employee performance and career development.
- Provide technical direction and leadership while developing policies, standards, and technology approaches.
- Contribute to technology delivery, account development, technology communities, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Successful delivery of software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications.
- Understanding of whole-solution architecture concepts and ability to communicate and negotiate designs with customer architects.
- Experience prioritizing non-functional concerns and incorporating them into application design.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
- Ability to communicate technical designs clearly in conversations, documentation, and presentations.
- Ability to make effective decisions in fast-moving delivery environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community.
- Desirable: accountability for technology delivery challenges across projects or multi-team programs.
- Desirable: experience developing business across an account with sales and account managers.
- Desirable: experience setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews.
- Desirable: ability to prioritize time across multiple major projects and active participation in technology communities.
