Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot network settings.
- Utilize Salt for configuration management.
- Automate tasks using Python scripts.
- Resolve DNS issues across various environments.
- Assist developers in deploying new software.
- Participate in the on-call incident response team.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation.
- Enhance operational checklists and processes.
Requirements
- Proven ability to complete complex tasks independently.
- Strong understanding of the Linux Operating System.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Salt or Ansible.
- Proficiency in automation using Python and Bash.
- Must have experience with network troubleshooting tools.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts including OSI model and TCP/IP.
- In-depth knowledge of DNS protocols and configurations.
