Responsibilities
- Deliver critical code for complex AI projects and remain hands-on with coding, code review, and optimization.
- Lead and mentor Applied AI Engineers delivering generative AI applications across industries.
- Lead pre-sales technical discussions and translate customer requirements into actionable AI solutions.
- Design and oversee fine-tuning, RAG, agentic workflow, and custom LLM application implementations.
- Drive evaluation of emerging AI tools and best practices for fine-tuning, inference, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to incorporate customer feedback into product development.
Requirements
- Fluency in French and English.
- Master’s degree or PhD in AI, machine learning, computer science, or a related field.
- 7/8+ years of AI/ML experience, including at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role focused on AI products or enterprise solutions.
- Proven experience leading complex AI projects from prototyping through production.
- Deep expertise in LLM fine-tuning, advanced RAG, agentic systems, and large-scale NLP application deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face.
- Strong software engineering skills in API design, backend or full-stack development, and system architecture.
- Strong technical communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include open-source contributions, customer-facing enterprise AI experience, and experience influencing product strategy based on customer needs and market opportunities.
