Base Salary
$104k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize database performance through monitoring, tuning, and query optimization.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for future database requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, including performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators on database-related concerns.
- Implement automation for repetitive tasks and performance monitoring.
- Establish best practices for database architecture and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Performance Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and proficiency in SQL.
- Basic knowledge of GraphDB, Kubernetes, and Linux is a plus.
- Professional experience with cloud hosting platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge of database architecture, replication, and optimization techniques.
- Must be a US citizen residing on US soil.
