Responsibilities
- Architect and govern end-to-end MuleSoft Anypoint Platform solutions using Experience, Process, and System API layers.
- Design and implement Salesforce integrations with ERP, data warehouse, and third-party platforms across API-led, event-driven, streaming, batch/ETL, and file-based patterns.
- Define architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, integration standards, API specifications, security architecture, non-functional requirements, and operational readiness practices.
- Lead API lifecycle management, governance, reuse, documentation, versioning, deprecation, and Anypoint Exchange adoption.
- Design event-driven systems using message brokers and address ordering, idempotency, replay, dead-letter handling, and asynchronous messaging.
- Lead integration testing strategy, including MUnit, contract, end-to-end, performance, and CI/CD test automation.
- Modernize legacy middleware and migrate Mule versions and CloudHub environments.
- Establish and operate a Center for Enablement and integration design authority across projects.
- Manage and mentor integration developers while working hands-on with requirements, implementation, quality assurance, pre-sales, estimation, and client solution design.
- Design safe AI-agent and GenAI integrations, including Agentforce actions, MCP servers, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, RAG, prompt handling, and token-cost governance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of client-facing consulting or professional services experience in integration or Salesforce architecture.
- 7+ years designing, refining, and implementing MuleSoft Anypoint Platform solutions, including CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, and hybrid deployments.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce integration experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Platform APIs.
- Hands-on experience with on-premises and hybrid MuleSoft implementations, Mule runtime installation and configuration, clustering, Runtime Manager agents, load balancing, networking, patching, and upgrades.
- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Level 1 and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 certifications are required.
- Experience with Anypoint MQ, Object Store, Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture, DataWeave 2.0, Java, and REST/SOAP integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Salesforce deployment architecture, sandbox strategy, Metadata API, DevOps Center, and Salesforce integration capabilities.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, EDI, SOAP, REST, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, GraphQL, AsyncAPI, webhooks, and gRPC.
- Experience with API management, integration governance, middleware strategy, enterprise planning, estimation, and project management.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Practical experience with GenAI engineering, LLM integration patterns, RAG, MCP, agent actions, prompt design, prompt injection, and data leakage risks.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Certified Integration Architect or Application Architect certification, MuleSoft Developer certification, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification, cloud architect certification, and exposure to Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, AWS integration services, or Kafka/Confluent.
