Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Write maintainable and reusable code to automate test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Test front-end components, APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
- Perform regression testing and identify defects or regressions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with developers and provide reports and resolution recommendations.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
- Monitor test results and metrics to identify quality trends and improvement areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar software testing and test automation role.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of software testing principles, including black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and quality assurance standards.
- Intermediate English communication skills.
