Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP and S/4HANA application solutions and extensions.
- Lead requirements analysis, technical solution design, architecture review, coding standards, and development oversight.
- Guide developers, allocate modules, review pseudocode and final code, and monitor system builds and project progress.
- Review test cases and results, coordinate defect resolution, support QA audits, and oversee deployment and project closure activities.
- Manage service support activities including incident, problem, change, RCA, patch, SLA, and issue-resolution processes.
- Support project planning, estimation, resource planning, presales, client calls, requirements traceability, and implementation feasibility analysis.
- Create knowledge articles, conduct knowledge-transfer sessions, mentor team members, participate in interviews, and support training and performance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including 2–3 years of SAP S/4HANA ABAP experience.
- Experience with at least 1–2 SAP S/4HANA ABAP implementation projects.
- Expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, Core ABAP, ABAP on SAP HANA, AMDP, Open SQL, CDS views and associations, OData, BOPF, and Fiori application development.
- Experience developing SAP ERP extensions, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, Fiori apps, BAPIs, BADIs, ALE/IDocs, workflows, and related SAP solutions.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver ABAP 7.54 and SAP tools such as ATC, SQLM, and UPL.
- Experience with SAPScript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and RICEF development.
- Preferred experience with RESTful ABAP programming, advanced Adobe Forms, and data migration to S/4HANA.
- Ability to lead technical design and development activities, support project delivery, and mentor team members.
