Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and evolution of ServiceNow solutions.
- Customize and model workflows using Flow Designer and advanced scripting.
- Use Java to build independent, high-performance extensions to the ServiceNow framework.
- Develop and maintain REST interfaces connecting ServiceNow with third-party systems.
- Design and validate architectures for complex self-hosted dependencies and metadata orchestration.
- Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into user stories, technical workflows, and implemented solutions.
- Conduct peer reviews, write unit tests, document solutions, and maintain engineering quality.
- Support re-engineering of migration and update processes, including installer-payload analysis.
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable IT training with several years of high-level professional experience.
- Proven ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript scripting, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Strong Java development skills and the ability to analyze complex logic and implement high-performance solutions.
- At least one of Certified System Administrator, Certified ServiceNow Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM, or Certified Implementation Specialist for CSM.
- Business-level English proficiency; German language skills are advantageous.
- Experience designing architectures for complex self-hosted environments is advantageous.
- Experience with re-engineering migration and update processes is advantageous.
- Experience analyzing and using undocumented Java interfaces or internal classes for deep core integration is advantageous.
- ITIL4 Foundation, Certified Technical Architect, or Certified Master Architect certification is advantageous.
