Responsibilities
- Design ServiceNow solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and translating them into technical platform solutions.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and services using JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, AJAX, JSON, AngularJS, web services, MySQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Deliver functionality across the ServiceNow platform and ITSM, HRSD, and SPM applications while following the development lifecycle and prioritized delivery backlog.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using APIs, Workflow Data Fabric, Integration Hub, and related methods.
- Optimize performance and scalability and improve the overall ServiceNow user experience.
- Ensure ServiceNow implementations comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry practices.
- Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, design specifications, and user guides, and conduct training for partners and end users.
- Identify process improvements, refactor existing capabilities, stay current with ServiceNow features, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of ServiceNow platform experience, including administration, scripting, and development, with experience on the Yokohama or Zurich release.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, orchestration, MID Servers, Scoped and Global Applications, and CMDB/CSDM.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations including REST API, SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, Integration Hub spokes, and Plug-ins/Store apps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and use-case analysis skills.
- ITIL v4/5 foundational certification, or ability to obtain it within the first three months of employment.
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications, or ability to obtain them within the first three months of employment.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced ServiceNow certifications such as CIS in ITSM or SPM or ArchX, governance and performance-tuning experience, DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience, Git source control, App Engine Studio and UI Builder experience, and data modeling and table-design experience.
