Base Salary
$90k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and end-to-end delivery for InterSystems Cache and InterSystems IRIS applications.
- Develop, test, debug, and document ObjectScript services, APIs, batch processes, and data workflows.
- Model and tune IRIS/Cache data structures, SQL access, persistent classes, queries, and application logic for performance and scalability.
- Lead Cache-to-IRIS modernization, legacy upgrades, and integrations using REST APIs, messaging, and file or batch patterns.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, improve operational resilience, apply secure development practices, and mentor engineers across technical teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership, design ownership, mentoring, and delivery accountability.
- 5+ years of hands-on InterSystems Cache and/or InterSystems IRIS experience with strong ObjectScript development and support expertise.
- 3+ years building and supporting high-performance, data-centric applications using SQL, indexing, query optimization, performance tuning, and operational readiness.
- 2+ years of Agile delivery experience using Scrum or Kanban, including refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and production support or incident response.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of IRIS/Cache administration or operational partnership, 2+ years with REST/JSON APIs, messaging, ETL pipelines, batch or file interfaces, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include regulated-environment experience, Linux/Unix scripting, and InterSystems certifications in IRIS, Cache, HealthShare, or Ensemble.
