
.Net Engineer
Northwestern MutualResponsibilities
- Develop enhancements and new functionality for an application used by financial representatives to show life insurance illustrations.
- Modify, research, debug, and troubleshoot application components and distributed systems.
- Contribute to technical discussions affecting the current and future state of application components.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to create solutions and bring forward new ideas.
- Take ownership of assigned goals and work effectively with minimal supervision while interacting with team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of development experience in C#.
- Experience writing and debugging .NET applications.
- Working knowledge of MS Test or a similar unit-testing tool.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, collaborate, and solve problems creatively.
