Base Salary
$243k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the observability vision and roadmap with business partners and lead end-to-end project execution.
- Own, maintain, and enhance scalable observability infrastructure and its features.
- Architect next-generation systems capable of handling tens of billions of active time series and petabytes of log and tracing data daily.
- Own the end-to-end availability and performance of critical services and reduce operational overhead.
- Mentor junior engineers and help develop their technical knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building, maintaining, and evolving large-scale distributed systems.
- Understanding of the components required to build modern, large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience owning the availability and performance of critical services.
- Passion and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
- A master's degree or higher is a plus.
- Open source contributions and experience using AI technology for incident detection and mitigation are preferred.
