Responsibilities
- Identify and lead critical initiatives involving infrastructure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Architect, design, and develop platform infrastructure capable of scaling to millions of connected devices.
- Influence platform features and direction through technical ideas and solutions.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to engineers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver key results aligned with product and organizational objectives.
- Establish engineering best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study.
- Experience with Python and/or Go.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- Interest in learning new infrastructure products, features, and strategies.
- Comfort working at the frontier of infrastructure and software development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Terraform experience preferred.
- Kubernetes experience preferred.
- Experience with a service mesh such as Istio preferred.
