Base Salary
$150k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on architectural leadership within client teams from discovery through delivery.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud architectures, application infrastructure, integration strategies, and secure deployment patterns.
- Guide engineering teams on technical trade-offs, architecture decisions, and best practices.
- Develop cloud adoption, hybrid cloud, and migration roadmaps.
- Architect and support highly distributed and scalable cloud systems.
- Advise senior stakeholders by translating complex technical topics into actionable recommendations.
- Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and technical blockers with delivery, engineering, and customer teams.
- Support AI-enabled and data-driven solution design and deployment on GCP.
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Contribute to long-term technical strategy and architectural direction.
Requirements
- United States citizenship and ability to work from the United States are required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, cloud engineering, or enterprise architecture is required.
- Hands-on software development experience with object-oriented programming such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with GCP IAM, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, and Chronicle.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security, DevSecOps, and regulatory compliance frameworks including GDPR and HIPAA.
- Experience with BigQuery, advanced SQL, BigQuery ML, Dataflow, Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience architecting and deploying AI solutions on GCP using Vertex AI, Gemini models, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience building production AI-driven and agentic solutions, including LLM applications, RAG architectures, and structured and unstructured data pipelines.
- Experience integrating AI systems with enterprise IT environments, authenticated APIs, legacy data systems, and secure corporate infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes public sector, government, education, or highly regulated environments; hybrid cloud and migration roadmaps; Kubernetes and containerization; large-scale migrations and modernization; and enterprise technology governance and planning.
