Responsibilities
- Participate in the architectural design and implementation of a company-wide Service Mesh system.
- Enable end-to-end microservice discovery, governance, security, and traffic-control capabilities for business adoption.
- Build a highly scalable centralized Service Mesh control system for releases, quality assurance, observability, and diagnostics.
- Support traffic management at the scale of trillions of requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more of C/C++, Go, Python, or Java, with hands-on Linux experience.
- In-depth understanding of RPC principles and familiarity with Thrift, Seastar, brpc, Dubbo, or gRPC.
- Strong analytical thinking, practical problem-solving ability, and interest in emerging technologies.
- Strong foundations in operating systems, data structures, algorithms, clean coding, and scalable system design.
- Familiarity with CNCF projects or open-source contributions is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Istio, Envoy, or MOSN is preferred.
- Contribution experience with the CloudWeGo open-source project is preferred.
