Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate AI/ML application-level monitoring, including model accuracy tracking and performance observability.
- Build Prometheus exporters for low-level component and interconnect fabric monitoring.
- Develop internal dashboards, CLI tools, automation scripts, and self-service portals to improve developer and operations productivity.
- Improve automated unit, integration, security, load, and end-to-end test coverage and effectiveness.
- Own new product experiments from concept through production deployment and adoption, including experiments involving Meta Quest.
- Contribute to AI-augmented development tools and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a dedicated platform or observability engineering role.
- Strong proficiency with modern application development languages and frameworks such as Go, Python, and Node.js.
- Advanced querying and optimization experience with SQL, PromQL, LogQL, and GraphQL.
- Experience with observability technologies including Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Prometheus, Thanos, and ClickHouse.
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Pulsar.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Pytest, JUnit, K6, Go test, and Cypress.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Working knowledge of configuration management and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with AI-augmented development tools and workflows.
- Clear and effective written and spoken English communication.
- Bonus experience with Linux internals, networking stacks, distributed storage, high-performance computing, high-growth startups, regulated industries, SOC 2 Type 2, or ISO 27001.
