Trade Support Engineer Intern

Responsibilities
- Support the change release and deployment process and escalate issues to DevOps and development teams when necessary.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting trading desks and review log files to identify application problems.
- Document common issues, propose solutions, and assist with monitoring-tool management and tuning.
- Develop scripts to automate operational tasks using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Use generative AI and large language models to accelerate scripting and improve troubleshooting workflows.
- Assist with AI-driven solutions for log analysis, anomaly detection, and proactive system monitoring.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Technology or a similar field.
- Experience with troubleshooting, documentation, basic networking concepts, and Windows OS.
- Experience with scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Foundational understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and willingness to use AI tools for problem-solving.
- Strong problem-solving, self-starting, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Python proficiency, cloud services or platforms, log tools, queries, Jira, project management, and AI-assisted coding or AI/ML API integration experience are preferred.
