Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sustain the resiliency and high availability of financial exchanges.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize exchange latency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams on technology upgrades and migrations.
- Support Cboe’s incident management process by investigating and resolving technical issues.
- Drive and implement capacity-planning decisions for Operations.
- Develop, test, and maintain automation and monitoring tools.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher and not scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
- Advanced Linux command-line knowledge.
- High proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to learn about technical operations for a financial exchange.
- Preferred: ability to read and evaluate C++ or similarly complex object-oriented languages.
- Preferred: knowledge of stock and options trading.
