Responsibilities
- Optimize existing scripting and tooling and implement features across the domain.
- Collaborate with Senior DevOps technologists on project features.
- Plan, architect, deploy, and present solutions within a mature trading system.
- Develop Python scripts that interface with AI APIs for log analysis, anomaly detection, and system alerting.
- Explore AI-driven tools such as LLMs and coding assistants to automate DevOps workflows and improve developer productivity.
- Document processes and procedures to support knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Conceptual understanding of design patterns, scalable system architectures, defensive coding, technical requirements, and code design strategies.
- Basic familiarity with or curiosity about Linux.
- Ability to troubleshoot, research solutions independently, and communicate technical problems effectively.
- Conceptual understanding of monitoring metrics and infrastructure alerting and monitoring.
- Prior Python internship experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT is preferred.
- Foundational interest in applying AI and machine learning concepts to operational workflows, trading infrastructure, or data pipelines is preferred.
