TransMarket GroupResponsibilities
- Support the firm’s proprietary software trading environment.
- Automate and maintain deployment systems, configuration management, CI/CD, and backtesting pipelines for trading software.
- Design and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect and diagnose real-time issues.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and IT staff on applications and platform components that meet automation requirements.
- Keep software and infrastructure components current and free of security vulnerabilities.
- Document and systematize IT operations processes.
- Automate provisioning of new servers and updates to existing servers.
- Collaborate in-office with traders and technologists on technical solutions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or having related industry experience.
- Fluency in Python or another programming language at the time of interview.
- Proficiency with code collaboration tools such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Basic knowledge of container-based technology, including Docker.
- Basic understanding of infrastructure management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Basic understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of database design and administration is preferred.
- Interest in financial markets and trading software is preferred.
