Platform Engineer Intern, Summer 2027

Responsibilities
- Support and design the growth, design, and expansion of scalable, reliable, highly available platform offerings for internal stakeholders
- Work with aligned and partner platform teams to develop Akuna’s hybrid cloud platform
- Produce clean, well-tested, documented code supporting production infrastructure and systems
- Monitor and manage the operational capabilities of Akuna’s systems
- Own an internship project and present the work and accomplishments at the end of the program
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, or an equivalent field
- Graduating by August 2027
- Major GPA of 3.5 or above
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud is valued
- Experience with cloud computing, networking, data engineering, and security is valued
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems
