Base Salary
$175k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the lifecycle of platform services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Design, write, and deliver software that improves service availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
- Manage service capacity, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Solve problems involving mission-critical services and build automation to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with systems and infrastructure engineers, software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science discipline.
- Have an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Have exposure to networking, Linux/Unix administration, systems performance, capacity planning, Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools.
- Understand the fundamentals of large-scale distributed systems.
- Have strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash.
