Base Salary
$123k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, develop, debug, and test software for assigned enterprise applications.
- Lead code reviews, automated testing, deployment, support, and monitoring across test, integration, and production environments.
- Contribute to consistent development practices, shared tools, reusable components, and technical documentation.
- Drive team strategy, prioritize initiatives, and take accountability for team outcomes.
- Mentor and guide team members while helping resolve technical problems and improving team productivity.
- Design and deploy scalable enterprise-grade technology assets and cross-platform integrations.
- Collaborate with leadership and business partners on solution requirements, architecture, and technical implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience is required; an advanced degree, knowledge, or equivalent skills are preferred.
- At least 8 years of active engineering experience is required.
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience in a complex technical environment is required.
- Expertise with HTML, CSS, AJAX, React, NodeJS, JSON, web services, data structures, and scalable solution design.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Vert.x, Spring Boot, NoSQL, relational DBMSs, API development, and architectural and security standards.
- Hands-on experience with application design, software development, automated, functional, and performance testing, and documentation.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and XLR for continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis, domain-driven development and design, Agile software development, and enterprise Java application development.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade technology assets and integrating cross-platform solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and the ability to communicate architecture and solution designs effectively.
- Ability to set priorities, adapt to changing requirements and business conditions, solve problems beyond day-to-day responsibilities, and collaborate across teams.
- Engagement with the open source community and demonstrated public speaking are valued.
