Base Salary
$180k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack web systems, backend services, and user-facing web applications.
- Create scalable technical designs and reason through architectural tradeoffs.
- Partner with engineering, product, marketing, and finance stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into technical plans.
- Coach and review engineers’ work while raising standards for code quality, design rigor, and delivery practices.
- Define mechanisms that promote best practices throughout the development cycle.
- Communicate progress and technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences, including customers when needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional engineering experience, including several years at staff level and prior Team Lead experience.
- Hands-on experience building and scaling web systems with React, TypeScript, Node, Go, and Python.
- Experience designing scalable and reliable architectures at the Staff Engineer IC6 level or equivalent.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to translate user needs into sound product decisions.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows, AI-powered features, or iOS or Android development is preferred.
