Base Salary
$135k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement native iOS interfaces in collaboration with creative design and user interface teams, following iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
- Analyze and optimize the user experience, UI, data storage, and network communications.
- Independently build and deliver high-quality features and improvements for the Cal AI application.
- Research and implement technical solutions that support business goals and benefit users.
- Provide thought leadership on design, testing, security, and deployment best practices.
- Coach and mentor team members, including junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product engineering teams to solve problems and turn complex ideas into simple solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience building Swift applications for the iOS platform within an Agile environment.
- Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
- Experience with multithreaded programming and RESTful APIs.
- Substantial experience using Git in a team environment.
- Experience working with a relational database and at least one package manager.
- Some experience with CI/CD.
- Collaborative working style, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers.
- Bonus: experience modernizing a large legacy codebase, using RxSwift or Combine, or using SwiftUI.
