Responsibilities
- Shape the architecture of Relativity’s agent runtime and Agent Harness platform.
- Build capabilities for agent orchestration, tool and skill execution, memory, long-session handling, and protocol support.
- Evaluate and adapt LangGraph, LangChain, Deep Agents, and other emerging agent frameworks.
- Design reusable abstractions and foundational building blocks for application and engineering teams.
- Support scalable cloud-native AI systems across products including ClaiR and aiR Assist.
- Explore emerging agent architectures and determine which patterns should become first-class platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including strong and recent Python experience building production systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and building LLM-powered or agentic systems using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with tool calling, orchestration, and agent state management.
- Strong solution architecture and design experience, including reusable abstractions and foundational building blocks.
- Understanding of modern asynchronous Python, API and service design, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience delivering cloud-native systems in Azure or similar cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- English proficiency for technical communication.
- Preferred: experience with Deep Agents, multi-agent or subagent architectures, agent memory, human-in-the-loop workflows, MCP, A2A, platform capabilities, RAG, retrieval systems, citation frameworks, LLM evaluation, MLflow, OpenTelemetry, safe model upgrades, Pulumi, or Terraform.
