Base Salary
$90k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance React and TypeScript applications for HR employee journeys, self-service experiences, and internal tools.
- Develop and maintain backend services and REST or GraphQL APIs for HR use cases and data needs.
- Implement reusable components, shared utilities, frontend patterns, and Workday API integrations.
- Design and deploy applications on AWS using cloud-native services and contribute to infrastructure automation and environment promotion.
- Build for performance, scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with UX and HR stakeholders to deliver accessible, mobile-friendly, localized global employee experiences.
- Participate in refinement, estimation, sprint execution, release readiness, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices and support IAM, MFA, data protection, auditability, logging, production readiness, incident triage, and defect remediation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards across the technology portfolio.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise with React and modern frontend engineering practices, including TypeScript, component architecture, state management, and testing.
- Demonstrated experience building and consuming APIs and implementing enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS and familiarity with cloud-native architectures and CI/CD practices.
- Practical Workday integration or API experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and product or delivery team models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in regulated environments with security and compliance expectations is a plus.
- Familiarity with employee experience platforms, intranets, or HR service delivery tools is preferred.
- Exposure to SSO, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, role-based access controls, observability tooling, production support models, global rollouts, and regional requirements is preferred.
