Responsibilities
- Provide technology leadership, solution oversight, design reviews, and guidance for complex enterprise initiatives.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative buy-versus-build analyses and make recommendations.
- Lead architecture communities, modernization efforts, and development of cloud-native reference architectures.
- Advise application development teams on technical roadblocks, performance challenges, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies for healthcare applications.
- Architect solutions involving AI/ML capabilities, Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Predictive Analytics.
- Design and implement automation frameworks and RPA solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and integrate development tools, platforms, and emerging technology frameworks.
- Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concept solutions, prototypes, and executive demonstrations.
- Partner with business, architecture, data science, engineering, product management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor architects and engineers, establish centers of excellence, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of overall design and development experience.
- More than 7 years of hands-on cloud-platform experience, primarily with Google Cloud Platform, plus experience with Azure and familiarity with AWS.
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns, including Domain-Driven Architecture, microservices, high- and low-level architecture, modernization, and technical-debt reduction.
- Experience with enterprise platform services, integration layers, security, automation, observability, IT operations, development tools, and SDLC practices.
- Experience with streaming and integration technologies such as Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar for connecting modern applications with legacy infrastructure.
- Proven success influencing major technology decisions and collaborating with leadership and engineering teams.
- Experience building intelligent automation frameworks and implementing RPA solutions with platforms such as UiPath and Automation Anywhere.
- Strong presentation, demonstration, mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and technical communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare-domain knowledge, healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance experience, SQL/NoSQL storage and caching knowledge, high-performance cloud-native development, conference speaking, open-source participation, and innovation-framework experience.
