Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines that scrub PII and create research datasets.
- Architect self-hosted and on-device model deployments for privacy and accessibility.
- Design model orchestration systems to route requests across multiple AI providers.
- Implement cost optimization infrastructure for AI accessibility.
- Create observability systems for tracking costs, latency, and usage patterns.
- Design infrastructure for fine-tuning and deploying custom models.
- Build monitoring and alerting systems for reliability as AI interactions scale.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building production ML/data systems.
- Strong experience with model serving, orchestration, and optimization.
- Proficient in Python and data pipeline technologies like Airflow.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and containerization tools.
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for LLM-based systems.
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
