Base Salary

$269k - $326k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define identity, credentials, scoped permissions, and session management for AI agents throughout their lifecycle.
  • Design and implement scalable IAM solutions across on-premises and cloud infrastructure for humans, workloads, and AI agents.
  • Build authentication and authorization mechanisms for workloads and services while enforcing least privilege.
  • Develop and maintain a secure developer golden path with IAM controls enabled by default.
  • Own the end-to-end development of security services within the Roblox infrastructure ecosystem.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience building scalable, distributed backend applications.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or C# .NET.
  • Active use of AI tools and understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations, including the implications of assigning identities and permissions to AI agents.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, design patterns, scalable containerized systems, and microservices.
  • Experience mentoring or leading the technical work of other engineers.
  • Familiarity with OPA, Topaz, SPIFFE, SPIRE, or similar policy and identity technologies.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
  • Experience implementing or maintaining Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), or Risk-Based Access Control.
