Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production-grade AI applications, tools, pipelines, and workflows across Citi’s lines of business.
- Evaluate emerging LLMs, agentic frameworks, orchestration layers, platforms, and startup tools through structured proofs of concept.
- Rapidly prototype business solutions and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
- Integrate LLMs and agentic systems with enterprise APIs, data pipelines, and lightweight front-end or internal tooling layers.
- Collaborate with governance, risk, and platform teams to move validated prototypes toward scaled deployment.
- Communicate technical work and business impact to senior business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience building and shipping AI applications, pipelines, and workflows in live production environments.
- Hands-on proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks or orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
- Strong full-stack software engineering fundamentals, including backend services, API integrations, and lightweight front-end or internal tooling.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with business leaders and clients.
- Experience learning and adopting new tools and platforms quickly in an evolving AI environment.
- Preferred experience includes working with startups, venture teams, or technology scouting functions; vector databases, RAG, or knowledge graph-based retrieval; Docker and Kubernetes; regulated industries; and presenting technical concepts to senior non-technical audiences.
