Responsibilities

Design and operate scalable AWS application infrastructure and end-to-end infrastructure as code.
Build responsive front-end interfaces, back-end services, scalable APIs, and data models.
Automate infrastructure, application deployments, configuration management, and operational tasks using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Python, and related scripting tools.
Design, deploy, back up, restore, and tune relational databases and resolve performance issues.
Implement monitoring and logging, troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, and support reliable production SaaS operations.
Apply networking and security practices involving IP networking, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, SSL, and cloud-hosted multi-tenant architectures.
Provide 24x7 production support, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with development, product support, and operations teams.
Ensure application code, infrastructure, and deployment processes follow security standards and best practices.

5+ years of total professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on DevOps and infrastructure-as-code experience.
Experience building full-stack web applications with front-end frameworks, back-end services, and RESTful APIs.
In-depth AWS cloud architecture and management experience, including Terraform-based infrastructure management.
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and containerized application deployments.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or Aurora and AWS RDS, including backups, restores, and performance tuning.
Strong Linux/Unix experience with RHEL or Amazon Linux; Windows Server familiarity is a plus.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec, firewalls, SSL, and cloud-hosted multi-tenant architectures.
Experience supporting production SaaS infrastructure 24x7, including on-call and out-of-hours support.
Understanding of ITIL incident, service request, and change management processes.
B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is preferred.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a distributed global team, with strong communication, customer-service, and prioritization skills.

The role involves 24x7 production support, on-call rotation, and out-of-hours support when needed.
