Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve scalable cloud infrastructure, shared platform services, and engineering tools.
- Manage containerized deployments and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Design and operate monitoring, alerting, log collection, and metrics systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, New Relic, and SignalFx.
- Improve developer workflows, platform performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support application and infrastructure security, identity and access management, compliance practices, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Design, create, and consume RESTful APIs and microservice architectures on public cloud platforms.
- Advise, coach, and assist engineering teams as platform and customer needs evolve.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of technology experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience managing build tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt.
- Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Ruby, Python, and Java.
- Expert technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience handling operations, deployment, and security for multiple SaaS or B2C products.
- Hands-on experience designing log collection with EFK and metric collection with New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, or SignalFx.
- Experience designing, creating, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservice architectures on public clouds, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, coding, and learning skills.
