Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of AI/ML systems for financial services workflows.
- Architect agentic systems involving LLMs, retrieval, embeddings, and structured reasoning.
- Build evaluation infrastructure for measuring agent quality and performance metrics.
- Translate customer needs into reliable and scalable AI system designs.
- Own major AI/ML workstreams from exploration to production deployment.
- Collaborate with backend, product, and solutions teams for integration.
- Mentor engineers on AI system design and productionization.
- Establish engineering standards for AI reliability and maintainability.
Requirements
- Deep Python engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
- Significant experience with applied ML, LLM systems, and NLP.
- Strong system-design skills with an understanding of tradeoffs in AI systems.
- Experience building evaluation pipelines and model monitoring.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
- Strong technical judgment in evaluating AI techniques.
- Clear communication and mentorship skills.
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent industry experience.
