Base Salary
$128k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and advance enterprise network security architecture and long-term cybersecurity strategy.
- Modernize network security governance processes and translate security requirements into scalable automated controls.
- Lead automation, workflow optimization, Policy-as-Code, Process-as-Code, and other engineering-led governance initiatives.
- Establish repeatable methods and metrics for evaluating security controls, policy compliance, and governance outcomes.
- Lead AI-enabled security transformation initiatives for analysis, automation, governance, and control management.
- Serve as the technical authority for network security architecture across data center, enterprise, cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Partner with executive leadership, engineering, architecture, risk, business, and security stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in network security engineering or network infrastructure security.
- At least 8 years securing AWS, Azure, and GCP networking, Kubernetes networking models, containerized infrastructure, and software-defined networking.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies, network protocols, packet analysis, VPN technologies, DNS security, network segmentation, and micro-segmentation.
- Experience defining metrics and measurement frameworks for security control effectiveness and governance maturity.
- Experience developing AI-enabled automated approaches for policy evaluation, security governance, compliance validation, or risk analysis.
- Experience implementing or promoting Policy-as-Code, Process-as-Code, or similar engineering-led governance methodologies.
- Preferred experience in financial services.
- Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, or similar.
