Base Salary
$170k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, cloud data, and network telemetry.
- Design services and architectures, defend design decisions to peers, and deliver robust implementations.
- Own critical features and subsystems across requirements clarification, development, deployment, and customer usage.
- Operate services in production and use operational experience to improve software supportability.
- Maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least four years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go and SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Extensive API- or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience delivering containerized services is desired, particularly in a Kubernetes-based platform.
- Networking and security controls experience, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible are nice to have.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required.
- The position requires the ability to serve in compliance with applicable U.S. export controls.
