Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop services, associated client code, scripts, and tests in Go, Rust, Bash, and other languages.
- Monitor and verify the security condition of remote networking devices across Google’s fleet.
- Build secure device enrollment and attestation workflows.
- Work with internal and industry partners to continuously improve hardware security and network infrastructure protection.
- Use tools and repositories including Bazel and OpenConfig/AttestZ.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Experience building distributed security systems and highly available services.
- Experience with web service standards including HTTP, REST, SOAP, and OAuth.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
- Preferred: experience in cybersecurity domains such as threat hunting, malware analysis, detection engineering, or incident response.
